I was expecting my youngest son when I purchased these ceramic cows.
That was over 21 years ago!!!
I just couldn't resist them. I had this thing for Holsteins when I was in college, and I've always loved cows anyway, so when I saw them, well, it was a done deal!
The mark on the bottom is from Poland. So hard for me to get a good shot with my little ol' camera! Sorry! I usually just forget to get the bottom!!
I'm joining in with all the lovely ladies below for Tuesday Teas!
Please look at each one and join in with us for a fabulous Tea Party Tuesday!!
Blessings,
Doni

I like your pretty new tea things and the cows.
It must have been a phase back then because I have some holstein items too that I just can't part with.
I really enjoyed seeing your new tea cups. Love the cows! What memories for you!
Oh your new china is so pretty! And a yard sale find too! I don't often get to see china from Poland.
Thank you so much for sharing with us today.
Hugs,
Terri

Wow! I don't think I have ever seen tea sets from Poland. They are just beautiful. I look forward to seeing all your china in the future. Thank you for sharing these lovelies with us. Have a wonderful week. Blessings, Martha

Doni...those china tea cups etc...are beautiful. I have a thing for roses...but even more so since I started participating in all of these fun tea events on Tuesdays...I think that's great you were able to find all of those items at a yard sale!!! I'll have to keep my eye out for more items like that!!!
Oh, the cows are fun too..I saw a photo of a Dutch Belted cow once...those made me laugh because they have this huge stripe of white around the middle. It looks almost like they're wearing corsets!!!...but lovely all the same :) :) Have a great week!!! Love and hugs from Oregon, Heather :)
p.s. I use the "flower" button on my camera when I take pictures of the backsgtamps on my tea things...most of the time it works well. I have more trouble with getting the right lighting!!!
I've always loved cow creamers too. They're irresistible!
Diane
I love the soulful look of cows! My father-in-law raises a few - I have a great respect for their strength!
Beautiful teacup, creamer and sugar bowl!
I hope you have a Delightsome day,
Kathy
Your tea set from Poland is lovely. I really like the pretty pink roses and the pedestle base of the cups. I have a Polish teapot, but it is in the heavy blue and white pottery.
Hello :) I truly do love your tea set, what a wonderful find at the sale! The roses are just so sweet & delicate....and your cows are cute too :)
Happy Tea Tuesday!!
Warmest hugs, Brenda

Doni, your tea things from Poland are lovely! I like the cows too! I've never collected them myself even though I've been drawn to them. I can't collect everything otherwise hubby would have to move out. Thanks for sharing and wishing you a happy week.
Blessings,
Sandi

Your tea set is lovely. It astounds me the things you can get at garage sales. I mean, why on earth would someone want to get rid of something as beautiful as that?!!
I discovered a gorgeous Royal Albert teacup last week. They were selling it for $1, simply because the saucer was broken in two pieces. Well, that's nothing that a bit of glue couldn't take care of, and now, for only a dollar, I have another gorgeous teacup.
Blessings to you,
Patti
