A Box Full Of Goodies!
My wonderful husband went with me on last Saturday to drive miles and miles and miles along the Hwy 80 Garage Sale! We had a blast, my feet STILL ache, and I now have some new goodies to share with you all.

One of the best things I think I got was a box full of laces and 'stuff'. I still haven't gone through the whole thing, and on a nice rainy day when I just want to sit still, I will organize all the different laces and things. I asked the lady who was selling the items if she'd take 5 dollars for the box....she said yes, so mine it is!!.jpg)
There seems to be quite a bit of lace edgings and even some embroidered pieces that look quite interesting. I have no clue what I'll find or if it's any good, but who can resist a box full of lace???.jpg)
At another stop, I found 2 bedskirts (twin size) in this beautiful white. I hope to make a new full sized skirt out of it and use it with my bed in the guest room. I suppose it would be easier to purchase an actual full-sized skirt, but then it wouldn't be quite the 'find' this is!.jpg)

The different laces in this box are amazing. I've never seen so many different styles, and some are in light blue, pink and other colors..jpg)

Hmmmm, I wonder if I need to get some of this added to my 'pile' for a soon to occur Give-Away???
When I reach 50 posts I'm thinking of having a Give-Away.

I have not heard of the hwy 80 garage sale. Is that the one that goes through Cleburne? I am going to have to look into this one. What a wonderful buy you got on those beautiful laces, my friend. I am sure you will have lots of fun crafting with it. I hope you have a terrific weekend! Vicki
