Have you ever just skipped going into a store or shop because you look at it and just think,
"Noooo, I don't think so".
Well, I stopped.
What did I find? STACKS of creamy white dishes.
place on the highway. Boy, was I surprised! I've passed this place
for years and years. Probably a hundred times!
Then Saturday, I stopped and went inside. It was full to the brim with great old stuff. Whatever interested you was proabably there.
I not only found the stack of dishes (for 10 bucks), but the
lovely jar on the left...is it a vinegar jar?
The pitcher on the right was found at another shop earlier last weekend.
It matches one I already have, though this one is larger.
Price? 4 bucks.
The spoons were the first thing I found in that little old shop.
They are matched and have such intricate work on them.
He gave me a great deal on them too!
My husband was impressed. 10 bucks for 39 plates. Yes, that's right.
39 plates!!! He even helped me get all the price tags
scraped off of them.
Then he says this to me.
"I kind of like that look on them, with the cracking varnish
and the chips".
Be still my heart!
Could a man say anything better about my dishes??
