Hello Kit-Tea!

So Where's the Kit-Tea? Just look below!

This charming print was a sweet find that now has a home with me!!
I thought it was so cute! The frame is really beautiful too.
And now for the teacups and plate...my HUSBAND found them!!!
Yes, he now has the eye, and his training is going well.
I think he deserves an A+ for this test!!

This Vintage Music is just the perfect background for a lovely tea vignette. Can you just hear the strains of a lovely piano-forte or harpsichord playing something as romantic as a piece called
'Dear Heart'? I thought the music itself was just beautiful.
Here are some close-ups that I'd love to see y'all use for some of your beautiful crafts!!!

Hi Doni!
Your hubby gets a "high five" for that find! HAHA!
Looking at that little set as a china painter, I can tell you that most likely the person who painted those was a beginner at the time. The reason I think this is because it was/is customary to start all beginner china painters out by painting pink wild roses, just like those. They are the easiest to start out with, and are easy to teach. While painting wild roses all the fundamental techniques can be introduced.
I started to learn to china paint when I was 15 yrs old. I can still remember painting those wild roses. I sure wish I could find that plate! Looking at these brings back nice memories. Thank you for sharing!
Good night my new friend!

Goodmorning Doni! So glad you joined me this morning. What a delightful setting. The picture is precious! I love the artist's rendition of children - I have a couple of those two!
What a fantastic job your husband did! How wonderful he would look and recognize something you'd love!
The old music is breathtaking. My friend gave my daughter an album of old music - my daughter plays piano, guitar and ukulele! She absolutely adores the music - we've converted her to be a fan of old movies too!
I am absolutely thrilled that you joined me! Terrific job!

A lovely tea set Doni, does your husband give lessons for other guys on-line? I can see why you picked up the picture, so sweet.
I've been meaning to say in my comments how cute those puppies at the top are.
Nice to join you for tea.

I'm not sure what happened to my comment. You might end up with 2 comments from me. If so, just delete.

This is my first visit to your blog. I'm making the tea party rounds today.

Hubby did a fabulous job. Those teacups are beautifu1!!

And I love the print. I'm not a cat person at all (horrible allergies), but, still, I think the print is positively adorable.

Have a lovely day.

Blessings,
Patti (Fill My Cup with Beauty)

So great that you have your husband trained to be on the lookout for good finds! Mine still gives me a strange look when I bring "junk" home.

Hi Doni, so happy you stopped by. Your blog is beautiful. A trainable husband is such a blessing :)) (I know it's his love for you but I tease my husband about NOT being trainable).
My parents used to live in Greenville TX and my Daddy was born in a little place called Bivins, Tx. I wanted to live in Tyler but the Lord sent us to Georgia. (())

ABeautiful set. Would you mind if I borrowed your husband? I would very much like it if he could come over and give mine a few lessons in choosing things a wife might like. *wink* All kidding aside, your husband does have wonderful taste and this set is a beauty. Take care.
