Powder Blue Car Oh How I Love YOU!!

Poor Thing.
On the side of the road just sitting there in all your faded glory.
BUT, you're still wonderful!!

I don't know a thing about cars, but I know what I like:

I stopped and asked for permission.  Then my cell phone camera and I got busy.

Rusty SUBSTANTIAL bumper

Awesome hood ornament

The perfect color.  Oh I'm in love.
Do you like powder blue??
Have a lovely week!
Blessings, Doni

Oh come onnnn! I just knew you were going to tell us you found this beauty and bought it! They just don't make them like this anymore!!! If there are second thoughts...but it can be yours'! Have a great evening! Luv

The saddest thing is that Plymouths are no longer manufactured, so it would cost an arm and a leg to restore it! Thanks for sharing your blues.

Happy Blue Monday, Doni.

What a lovely old specimen of post war car making. I'm assuming it's post war, maybe I'm wrong. It looks very similar to a car that was to become our most popular in Australia, the FJ Holden. Maybe I'm not quite right in the F? bit but near enough. It was our first ever Australian built car and looked very similar to the one you have showcased. My parents had one when I was a little kid. It was dark blue almost black and a huge beast of a thing. Ah memories. Thanks for sharing.

I learned to drive in a black and red one.It was old in the 60s,It came from our Grandpa new.We called it the Bomb.I was so embarrassed to be seen in it,as a teenager of the 60s.Now I would love it.

What a great Old Car! Too bad you only got to take pixs of it Home... wouldn't it have been awesome to 'score' something like that and bring it Home as a Prize Found Treasure!? But how very gracious of the Owner to allow their Lovely Old Car to be Photographed and enjoyed now by so many here in the Land of Blog!

Indeed, this car looks awesome despite its age. But I think it looked even lovelier during its prime. Actually, it saddens me to see some old vehicles that are left to rot. I hope some people would have the heart to restore them into their former glory. =) [Carry Bacot]

So, it’s like you’ve had an impromptu car show right then and there? :D I like it too! I love low cars to begin with. But I’m just curious, what’s it doing there unused? What did the owner tell you, by the way? I’m sure everyone who has passed by this car secretly wanted to bring it home. -->Ellsworth
