The Chickadees are asking the question, Who Won?

Well, that will have to be answered after we have our Pearls and Lace Thursday!!

This last month's shopping at sales and fleas seems to me to be a Bonanza of Yellow Roses and yellow trims!!  From thread to brooches, to figurines to pictures and jars, everything seems to be yellow and with roses!  The picture below is my very favorite find.  Yellow Roses!  And of course since I was born, raised, lived here in Texas and will hopefully die in Texas, the Yellow Rose is PERFECT for me!

The sweet jar below is hand painted with of course, yellow roses!

Even the GLOVES were yellow!!!

Yellow roses painted on a small dresser tray and yellow vintage trims, even the brooches went along with the theme.  It's been a lovely few weeks of sales, but now the cold northern winds and rains have started and I'm afraid the garage sales will be put off for warmer weather.  What do y'all do for the winter if you can't go shopping sales???  I'm hoping to locate some indoor thrift stores around here!!

I've really enjoyed visiting each of your blogs (for those of you who have one), and getting to know you a bit better. For all of you to know, I visited every link of every sidebar, made sure that all were correct, and checked every comment for verification. I printed each comment out, each entry for Pearls and Lace Thursdays, and sidebars and posts. SO wonderful of each of you who participated!

I printed out 8 columns of numbers, One for each entry.  Total entries after tallied were 165

Cut the 8 columns into strips intending to attach them as collars around 8 puppies necks, but my husband asked me to only let one of the babies be part of the giveaway choosing....too much room for accidents otherwise!!

So, let me introduce you to Spencer!

Spencer, would you please pick ONE of the plates with a strip of paper on it?? 

He looked and sniffed, then looked some more.

And finally, after deciding between these two plates,

chose THIS one!!

Great job Spencer!  Thanks for your help, and thanks for not having an accident while we got these pictures!

OK, now for step 2 of the Giveaway choosing.

I got all of my entries numbered already, so now my strip of paper with the numbers to be chosen need to be cut up so they can go into my Coffee Pot!

Can you believe that the first time I poured, only ONE piece of paper actually came out into the cup!?
