Waterfall Teacup and Upcoming Giveaway!!

Demi Tasse set # 7
It's another sweet little set that was made in Japan.  This one has a scene painted on it that has a very intricate scene on it.  The cup shows a waterfall and tree, with a lovely blue sky.  The water appears to be flowing along into the saucer which has a sweet covered bridge depicted with the water flowing underneath.  A pathway is painted alongside, and hills overlook the peaceful scene.
It is not anything like the others, and I've never seen another one similar to it.

I've been delighted with these little cups and saucers and have purchased a few more examples to add to the collection.  But for the picture above, with the pink doily, I've now shared each one with you!
Many thanks for your delightful comments and friendly words.  I always love Tuesdays because of the fun Tea Parties!!

I want to thank Martha from Martha's Favorites for the LOVELY brooch and GORGEOUS blue plate she sent me for being the winner of her giveaway!!!!!

What a neat surprise to see that sweet brooch attached to the wrapper!!

And this plate is just plain beautiful.
Thank you Martha, I will always cherish them as coming from you!

And now, I have an announcement for this Thursday.
Usually, I host Pearls and Lace Thursday each Thursday.  I will be doing so again this Thursday, but with a twist!  This Thursday will be my 100th post!! Therefore, I'm going to be having a giveaway to celebrate.
Please get your pearls and laces out and snap a few pics so you can join me, and I'll let you know more about the giveaway on Thursday!!

I am joining in the parties listed below, so be sure and check them out, join in, visit them, and have a lovely Tuesday!!!
Blessings to you!
Doni

Hi Doni...

Oooh...I haven't ever seen a cup like this either! The scene depicting a waterfall is just breathtaking! It truly is unique! Thank you for sharing it with us! I also enjoyed getting a peek at the other demitasse cups and saucers...you have a splendid collection, my friend! I also think that the beautiful cup and saucer in the center...the footed square cup...is really unique as well! It's gorgeous!

I'm so happy for you, my friend! The brooch and decorative plate are beautiful...such sweet gifts! What a blessing!

Warmest autumn wishes,
Chari @Happy To Design

Hi Donia....That Japanese waterfall demitasse with matching saucer. That's so unique and beautiful....almost like a fairy tale cup :) :) :) How intricate...and I like how the saucer is a continuation of the scene on the teacup :) :) :) Love and hugs from Oregon, Heather :)

I always have to smile when I go to your blog, because I have one of those gorgeous Louis Sherry tins as well, and it is so nice seeing them on your blog as well.

What a lovely teacup! I have never seen one painted like that - the only ones I've seen are flowers of some sort or another. Congrats on approaching your 100th post - it's a milestone for sure!

What a beautiful and unique teacup you've shared with us today. I have never seen a teacup with a waterfall scene before. Waterfalls are some of my most favorite things. They are SO beautiful...so are teacups...so putting the two together makes for double beauty.

Oh, and congratulations on winning Martha's lovely giveaway.

Blessings to you,
Patti
