Pearls and Lace Thursday #104 Aged Pinks, Peach, or Salmon?

Peaches are in season.
Peaches with Cream!
Aged Pinks actually...or is it now officially 'Salmon'??
Whatever the name of the color, it's pretty.

Have you ever seen a tatting shuttle in this color?  I've been recently blessed with some lovely items from my favorite Antique Shop in Cape Girardeau, Missouri owned by my friend Paula.
I called her about a wonderful cobalt blue jar I saw on her Pinterest board (I'll show it to you on another post!), and asked her to get some other items together for me.  In other words, she shopped for me!
Because we live in Texas and can't go to Missiouri....well, let me tell you.  Paula gathered some WONDERFUL items together for me and it was so much fun to open the box she shipped!
Thanks again Paula....I so love my new pretties!!  They fit perfectly in with my own stash!

Some close-ups of the aged laces on cards that I adore!!

This ladder style insert piece is a favorite.

I recently purchased a vintage ledger!!  It's not a huge one, but it does have some great pages from an old store's daily records dated 1906!

It's time for Pearls and Lace Thursday!
Add the url code from your blog post to the linky below to join the party.
I've been so blessed to be able to blog and share my pretties with you!
Thanks to each of you who have visited my craft room and my blog posts past and present.
Y'all are the best!
Blessings, Doni

You're right. whatever it is called, it is lovely! Where do you get your scripture papers? Or, do you make them and age them yourself?
If you have time, stop by and see my bird I am painting. He is turning out cute.

I think it's salmon but we can call it pink

my heart shipped a beat when you mentioned Cape Girardeau Missouri, my grandmother & aunt lived in Sikeston which is very close and I passed Cape all the time on interstate 55 south from Columbia Mo

I am all of a sudden craving lace and vintage lace clothing

I want one just like it LOL

Such a beautiful post, love every single bit of it. What is it about antique sewing notions that makes us go weak in the knees?! I find them so charming. Thanks so much for sharing with us.

Happy VTT!

So glad to have found your blog and your linky party.
I LOVE vintage fabric, lace, trims, buttons, etc!!
Your vintage lace is beautiful and love those little spools! I have a box very similar with cream thread. I would love to find them in pink.
Will visit again soon.

Hi Doni,
I adore all your tatting lovelies...i can crocheted but tatting..well it is so beyond me.
Also, i spied a gorgeous wallpapered dresser on etsy...but just do not have the $125 they were asking for it. Still have not found any of the sewing drawers like yours. I will keep looking though, and come back a drool over yours...lol
Happy pink,
Lorena

It will always be peach and creme to me. Those were our wedding colors 24 years ago. That shuttle is a true treasure.
