Pearls and Lace Thursday #90 White Laces and Background Board

Of course I have more laces to show you!!
If it's not thread, I guess it's Lace!
I found these beauties on Etsy recently and wanted to share them with you.
I've also been working on some background boards.  I want to print out some other pages for another board idea that I have, but first, I have to get the new printer hooked up!  Who knew that if one tiny little piece of plastic didn't work, the whole thing would be shot!??

The pages I used for this background board, which by the way is foam board with one side that is sticky...just peel and stick, are actually from a very old and brittle dictionary.  The pages were so brittle that I decided to coat the whole thing with some Mod-Podge.  I love that stuff!  It covered beautifully (matte finish), and now I don't have to worry about the pages peeling or cracking and falling off the board.

And if you remember my post last week (here) about the Rainbow of Threads that I got pictured above, along with the box full of gorgeous thread were a few extras thrown in just because the sweet seller was so generous!
I think she must have peeked at my blog and found out what I love!!

This Pineapple Pincushion paper of directions was a perfect love match...

Remember my birthday present this year???

My dear friend 'L' made it for me!!  Does she know my taste or what???
It's time for Pearls and Lace Thursday...even if it's only Tuesday!  I find myself sometimes getting impatient waiting, and other times I just have to get it done because the rest of the week is so busy!!
Be sure and check out the parties I'll be visiting as well, listed below.

A huge welcome to my newest followers!  I've really enjoyed getting to visit you on your blogs, and I'm so honored to have you each here!  The party attendees last week were wonderful as well...Y'all ROCK!!
Thank you too for all the sweet comments about the thread!  I have had a blast playing with them, and look forward to sharing some more ideas I have for playing with  displaying them!!
Have a blessed week!
Doni

I LOVE the lace displayed on the vintage text. Great backdrop. Do you mind if I use that same idea? I bought some fantastic vintage laces this week. I was even more thrilled with them when I opened the package and even more thrilled when i washed and ironed them. I was going to do a post about them they are so pretty. Thanks for sharing today.
