Pearls and Lace Thursday #66 Singer Hand Crank Machine

Here it is!!
It is a Hand Crank Singer Sewing Machine.
It has a few issues, and needs some TLC, but it's so sweet and fits my latest niche of vintage sewing items!

I just love the graphics on the machine.  There's something so nostalgic about it.  I guess it reminds me of my youth and seeing one of these gorgeous machines in an old house surrounded by a wrap-around-porch (which we played on for hours as small children).  The sights and smells and sights still linger in my mind.

I've used some of the vintage sewing accessories that I got recently and shared in my last

This piece of lace above was from an etsy shop....along with a few others.

The small appliques above I've had for a while now...aren't they sweet?

A garage sale find above are German made scissors, and they came in a leather case.

This piece of lace above has a name tag sewn into it!!  I guess the work of a young girl or woman, or maybe a piece taken to boarding school or teacher's college back in the day.

This lovely machine now has a new home, and I'm so excited to get to share it with you.

Oh, I just love that old sewing maching. It reminds me of my sweet mother who used to sew. She was so creative, and made so many things. Thank you for taking me down memory lane. That lace is so pretty.
