I'm Celebrating with Pink and Cream and of Course with Pearls and Lace #145

HELLO TO YOU!!!
I've missed posting this month, but it has allowed me to get creative again and I have a huge mess in my craft room to prove it, but the end results are beginning to look worth it. I will be sure and share it with you in the future.

I just now went back in to this post after I posted it and I need to apologize. I have just noticed on my sidebar a blog post that was posted by one of the blogs I followed that was absolutely nasty. If you saw that, I am so sorry. I was unaware of it until this moment and it has now been deleted.

But for now I have some lovelies to share with you!

YEP!

Pink and Cream again....

but it's my 50th Birthday (on the 17th) and I can't have cake, so I choose pink and cream frosting
with pearls and lace decorations!!

It was amazing that I had so much to use on hand in just these colors!

I got out all the little favorites I delight in, and displayed them all over the place!

Cascades of lovely, aged trims. Scads of pearls of all hues. Satin ribbons and eyelets.

And of course some sewing notions!

Sears sold lace???

Isn't this little pearl cascade adorable?

And the old silk crocheted flowers have a lovely patina and droop.

The mail brought the above champagne colored pearl beauty to me. I love it when I'm looking through an Etsy store for something else, and out pops a lovely I just HAVE to have!!

I got out my favorite rhinestone button collection as well. These little beauties give it all the

bling factor!

With the new year and the milestone birthday, my verse to share with you is this:

Acknowledge Him

That doesn't mean to just nod or wave and think, ok, I know You're there.

It means to look into His Word, learn it, make it your own. Then, when He has shown you HIS ways,

your paths will be directed by Him, and your way made plain to see.

I hope that this year each of you will choose to look to the ONE who has ALL the answers.
